This history-making festival stays as a world-recognized model of excellence in the transition years from standard classic circus to new school and movements.
Jury members included representatives from Cirque du Soleil, Ringling bros., Russian State Circus etc.
It was the first event in the world to reveal the French National Circus School (CNAC), the center of later "new circus" movement.
